We are a family centered practice where all educators are extensively trained in first aid, asthma, anaphylaxis, and child protection. Our educators are required to have a working with children check or a Victorian institute of teaching registration card. Our educators have specialised skills in Music, science, language and sustainability. We provide a Safe nurturing environment and an extensive orientation process for families to settle into our family setting.

Meaningful interactions
Our educators have supportive interactions with each child allowing them to flourish and learn in the Early Learning Centre environment. The educators build trusting relationships with the child and families to provide a quality experience and program catering to each child.

Homely, Natural and Sustainable Environment
We pride ourselves on creating a second home for our families. Our environment encourages families to participate in our program.
Our outdoor environmental program comprises of a large open playground and an extensive undercover decking area. Children can explore the wonders of the outdoor area by experiencing nature through our indoor/outdoor curriculum.
We use natural resources in our program, (Reuse, reduce and recycle). This has been reflected through multiple awards we have won through our sustainability project work within the community.

Freshly Prepared Meals
Highly Nutritional meals are prepared daily by our centre cook using fresh fruit and vegetables purchased form the market on a weekly basis. We provide a four week rotating seasonal menu including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. Our menus have been assessed by the Smiles for Miles Program ensuring we cater to the children’s daily nutritional and proportional guidelines. Fresh fruit is provided additionally throughout the day.

Quality Educational Program
Our educational program is led by our Early Childhood Teachers and educators. Our program implements an emergent curriculum focusing on being responsive to children’s interests to create meaningful learning opportunities and exposing children to a range of new experiences. Our teaching practices are influence by current research and theories in the early childhood field. Our philosophy is influenced by the work of Reggio Emilia and with particular focus on adult and children co – constructing learning opportunities together. We provide an approved 3 and 4 year old kindergarten program developing skills for school readiness and for lifelong learning. Our curriculum is influenced by principles held by the Early Learning Centre, families, community and culture which is inclusive of encouraging children to explore their curiosity.

Our centres provide extracurricular experiences and incursions:
Extracurricular activities include: Science, Music, sport, yoga, art and Lote.
Incursions include: dog safety awareness program, swim safe and cultural incursions
